Eve was a wonderful and reassuring person who communicated my birth plan & cared deeply to match my needs. She was incredibly flexible and understanding when my pregnancy was over two weeks late.

On the morning of my daughter’s home birth, from the moment Eve arrived I felt calmed by her gentle, confident and reassuring presence. Although my labour progressed very quickly, I felt safe, held and unafraid in her capable hands. Eve’s demeanor was a perfect blend of sensitive and reassuring, and confident with clear direction of how to best support my needs during each surge. It was as if she could sense what I needed both physically for relief such as water or help changing positions, and also she knew when to use her skillset such as hip squeezes pressure and other helpful pain management maneuvers. I felt as if I was being guided by a caring aunt and knew my needs intuitively. Eve also provided an extra amazing treat, during the pushing portion of my labour she took beautiful photos capturing the unforgettable joyful moments when my daughter was born!

After the birth I appreciated Eve staying at my home and caring for me, and providing what felt like luxurious attention by asking what I needed such as water and snacks, and settling me and my little one into my bed and giving me a very wonderful foot massage to ease my discomfort. I feel honoured to have had Eve as part of my birth story, to guide and support me and relieve my discomfort and fears.

Eve has helped us get our feet back on the ground since having our baby. She helped us with baby feeds and sleep training. She watched our baby boy so that we could catch up on much-needed sleep. She helped us get our messy place under control. She helped us on those days when we needed emotional support. Eve is well-rounded, caring, and reliable.

We know our little one is in good hands with her. He always has a big smile on his face when she arrives and a full-belly laugh when she plays with him. She’s there for us too. The good days, the bad days, all of it. No judgment, just support and understanding. I wholeheartedly recommend Eve to anyone looking for a birth or postpartum doula. I don’t know how we would have gotten through these first months as new parents without her.

Thank you so much Eve for your guidance, support and kindness over the past few months. We’ve implemented many of your tips and tricks, and have had an overall smooth start to parenthood as a result. You have given us the confidence to move forward and we also know you are just a phone call away should we have any questions or concerns. You have a magic touch!

We are so happy with our decision to go with Eve as our birth doula. She helped us create a birth plan based on our preferences by providing information on options without being judgmental. She tailored the pre birth sessions to meet our specific needs. Eve is an excellent communicator and was both organized and flexible in maintaining appointments. She cleared here schedule during our birth and was just a text or call away when we needed her.

During our labour she arrived prepared with lots of comfort measures and even more importantly a calming energy, which brought both my partner and I immediate comfort and ease. Eve’s knowledge and anticipation of a labouring persons needs are uncanny. I thought I was prepared with my hospital bag, but once I got my epidural and could relax I realized my feet were freezing and my lips were dry. Eve had me covered and immediately pulled a fluffy new pair of socks and a new chapstick out of her caddy. I would highly recommend eve to any family preparing to bring a new baby into the world.

Our journey would have been different without Eve! She has been such a great support with so many tips along the way and was really helpful to us with our first baby. We had plan a home birth and I had a 30 hour labor in total.

As soon as Eve arrived at our home, she was all the time with me, massaging me for each contraction, making sure myself along with my husband I had everything I needed. Her massages were so helpful! I really like the peanut ball she had. Eve made sure everything was ok and left few hours after my son was born. She has always been there to answer our questions at anytime! Huge thanks to you Eve, you are such a blessing and you have been an angel to us!

Eve was a wonderful support to both me and my partner throughout my pregnancy. I had a unique early labour (pretty much in labour for 2 weeks/stuck at 3cm) and whenever I needed support (emotional, and physical with labour preparation) Eve was just one call/text message away. She came to my house whenever I thought I was in labour and helped create an even more relaxing place with candles, massages, and tens machines to help me breathe through my contractions. During the active labour, I was happy that she was there to support me and provide an opportunity for my partner to cat nap before the delivery.

Eve created a space for me to contact her anytime without feeling guilty (false labour). She always checked on me to make sure that I did not feel guilty and deserved to be supported. I know that I will have more children in the future and I know that I will reach out to Eve as my doula for my next children.

I am grateful that my family got to be supported by Eve. She is an amazing Doula.
